I'm a freelance journalist and public relations consultant, based in Lincoln.
Originally from Cheshire, I studied at the University of Wales, Bangor for a degree in linguistics. Since then I've lived in Kent, Coventry and Nottingham before moving to Lincoln.
I worked within the product marketing department of a national builders and plumbers merchant for several years before moving into the renewable energy division of the same company, as the training manager. I then decided to channel all of my accumulated knowledge of these industries into writing for trade and business to business publications.
I have varied interests and like to try new activities. My spare time can therefore be taken up by anything from mountain biking to ten-pin bowling, watching motorsport or even speedcubing with a Rubix cube. I play guitar and my other interests include cinema, wildlife and photography.
